AIO Food Pantry
AIO has been supporting residents of Knox County with food and energy assistance for 35 years. With recent federal budget cuts for SNAP, Medicaid, and support for Maine’s Healthy Meals program, and a reduction in TEFAP and the elimination of the LPFA25 support for small local farms, AIO faces a perfect storm of increased demand and reduced supply.
AIO is working with community partners to prepare for this “storm.” This isn't the first, nor will it be the last AIO faces.
