Sweet Monkey Business began in 2010, when holiday cookies were first baked for friends and family. Each year, the recipes were refined and the list of eager recipients grew, fueled by a shared love of distinctive, delicious baked goods. This passion eventually led to the launch of Sweet Monkey Business in 2019, transforming a cherished tradition into a dedicated baking business based in Belfast, Maine.

Today, Sweet Monkey Business handcrafts Maple Joan Granola in its Belfast kitchen using only fresh, all-natural, preservative-free ingredients. This “superfood” granola is made with carefully sourced, nutrient-dense ingredients—including pumpkin seeds, coconut, nuts, seeds, and grains—procured locally whenever possible. By avoiding excessive oats and unnecessary fillers, Sweet Monkey Business delivers an exceptionally wholesome, nutritious, and delicious product that reflects its commitment to quality and care.
